As a type and font geek, I immediately loved Tauba Auerbach's work:



Her paintings were featured at this year's Whitney Biennial. She and I were born the same year - a sad reminder of the differential in my age versus my worldly accomplishments.
On the sartorial side, a recent show titled Here and Now/And Nowhere featured the artist playing a two-person pipe organ of her design in platforms and dresses by Ida Falck Oeien:
