For my money, New York Magazine has the best and most comprehensive fashion week coverage. One of the shows that provided an unexpected surprise was Rodarte. I didn't get the deconstructed punky knits from collections past, and the draping seemed haphazard and avant gard just for the sake of being so. However, Fall 2009 seems to pull together all of their signatures-varying textures, knits, eye-popping color-to stunning affect:
I'm also quite fond of how they've essentially created 36 versions of the same dress. I love the practicality of a 'uniform.'
