Perusing Hive Modern late last night on the way to Boston, I discovered le Klint lamps:
The lamps were designed in 1969 (note the groovy curves) by architect Poul Christiensen and have been in continuous production by Danish firm le Klint. I've filed these in the mental interior decorating rolodex for placement in the dining room or as a central fixture in the living area. Love!
My own lamp is coming along (photos soon). Last week I cast the plaster mold and look forward to laying in paper or fabric to create the actual shade.
